Writing Wild in the City

People often think of nature as a pristine lake or remote forest. But nature is all around us in cities like New York—and even includes us! Join beekeeper and writer Kate Newman for a masterclass on urban nature writing, where we'll talk about how language helps us see the world, and learn the names of a few local plants and animals. All you need is a pen/pencil and paper.

P.S. Stay on the lookout for plants you don't recognize in your neighborhood before class—if you see one, take a picture!
