Scholarship Fund for TKP

Join our team as a contributing Patron. 20+ year commitment nationally, in New York and now virtually to advancing the next generation through its multi-disciplinary writing and arts programs and projects.

Specifically, your support will provide middle and high school students with customized instruction and academic enrichment in literacy, writing across all media, digital fluency, and communications. Students forge new friendships through dynamic, creative outlets while learning in small groups and being mentored by accomplished teaching artists.

FUNDRAISING GOALS
I Write & GO!
$10,000 or twenty $500/event donations (each donation is fully tax-deductible in New York) by June 1st is our goal to launch a series of free Meet the Author summer events from July - September. One Author (fiction, nonfiction, sports, comics, game maker) meets in-person (if venue or park regulations allow) or virtually with the first three middle or high school students who sign up online for coaching in storytelling and their writing. Our aim is to announce and coordinate 200 events in New York for 600 eager young writers and publish their final stories in the Fall.
Children’s Creative Writing Campaign 2021
$5,000
Launched in 1993. Your $125 gift ($100 tax-deductible) will provide one child (grade K – 8) a Certificate Award for Excellence in Storytelling, plus a $100 gift card to be presented to Finalists in June 2021. You or your business will receive a copy of one Finalist award-winning story and will be named in print and online media impressions as a CCWC 2021 Patron of the Children’s Story Archive.
The Knowledge Project is a federal 501 (c)(3), not for profit. All donations are tax-deductible.
